Pianist Maggie Hinchliffe and soprano Rose Kearin present a recital tour of classical art songs inspired by trees and nature. Beginning with historical repertoire by composers such as Schubert and Debussy and concluding with the premiere of three new works by Texas-based poets and composers, this program asks the listener to reflect on their relationship to nature through the lens of music and poetry.
